Thanks for photos. Found my old picture, where I compared engravings noob m, v6f n and gen. Obviously, at one point, when changing the case from 6728 to 6834, there could be some changes, but judging by the photo gen that you attached, the logo did not change.

Very cool. I love knowing little details like this. The only thing I am maybe seeing is the new P series gen caseback seems to have slightly fatter logo? Maybe it's just the lighting.

Your middle Pic above must be the old Noob M caseback. That logo looks very off. I like how Noob upgraded this on the latest release (as illustrated in the OP's QC Pic).

ebzen02 sorry to geek out on your thread lol. But I think all these replies directly and indirectly illustrate how good the NOOB you got is.

When you receive it, I would love it if you could take some pics of the dial (like the way I did with my M series H-factory), CG and crown area, and the caseback.

Based on everything so far, I think you made the right choice by going with Noob. Some do mention about quality controls on screws, CG lever tightness/fitment, etc. but those aren't really accuracy concerns I have.

Yes, it is slightly fatter. If you look at the positive space left by the engraving (where the left is an "O" and the right is a "P"), the O and the P are noticeably thinner and the leg of the P is thinner on the 6834 case compared to that on the 6728 case. That's because of the increased thickness of the logo. They couldn't make the logo bigger so they decided to eat up the space on the inside of the logo.

Thank you for dropping knowledge on this. The new Noob caseback seems to have this pretty nailed down. My M caseback seems accurate enough for that time period too.

No worries man! Enjoying the details! Will take a bunch of pics when I get it.

Thanks for sharing. I see that the font of the numbers is indented from the edge.
Is it strongly convex?

Danngggg I like it. To me this looks more accurate than XF 005. The lume color looks a bit greener than QC pics you showed us but maybe it's just the lighting?

Which Noob 005 was this one from the TD?

Yes.. it’s a bit greener. But, not extreme.

That's good to know and your watch looks great to my eyes. Even the CG window to crown thickness ratio looks much better than the QC pics (CG window corners look better too Vs. XF).

For the price you can’t ask for much more. To me it’s a great daily beater that’s reliable.
