I had one of the 2013 models and ended up selling it m2m a few months ago because I never wore it. Maybe it's just me, but I was never really impressed with it. I had no idea it had obtained this "super-rep" status, and I still don't see the big deal. It never looked as good in real life as it did in pictures, rep or gen. I don't know what the problem was.
For those on the fence, when researching the LMPO I came across an blog on a gen Omega site that most here will find interesting. The quote that sparks the descussion is...
"PO LM is a very desirable watch. I concur.
However a month ago during a GTG somebody bring both original PO LM and PO LM replica, a high quality one. It took me 2 minutes with a loupe to find minute differences. It was that scary."

So I have been basically lusting over this watch since I started looking into Omegas a few weeks ago. What are the chances that the lume and color will be fixed. Is it as easy as the maker saying to a supplier "hey, next batch put a little less lume so there is no overspill. And you guys that we get the hands from, yeah, make up some red ones, no more of the orangish ones!"
I realise it isn't very likely to be that easy but If this was a 2011 watch and only 1948 or so we're made and it isn't selling extremely well these days and it's "popularity" may be waning, will a v3 ever happen or is it just wishful thinking?
I can speak from personal experience after owning this watch, and comparing it to pictures of the previously released Noob LMPO 2014 models, that this current batch was OBVIOUSLY rushed. Not only is lume overspill on more than half the hour markers, under a light you can see the uneven-ness of the lume job. Its like a grand canyon on my watch dial!
I was late to the "ordering party" during late September for the supposedly 500 piece limited run, and messaged Ryan from Intime about the possibility of a future release and he told me Noob may release another batch in the next month. The thing that stuck out to me was the fact that Noob Factory realized the huge demand for the LMPO and pumped out as many as possible in the short span to satisfy demand. What I learned from this is never order a watch while riding on the huge demand train because most likely production will be rushed. Buy it after the demand dies down to avoid the rush production. Just my 2c
Which brings me to my next point.....the darn movement kept getting stuck and I had to ship it back to Ryan to fix (RIP). I honestly don't even know if I will ever get it back. I wish I had some pictures to show you but I'm sure other members here can vouch hahaCan you post a pic of the lume overspill? I can't seem to find any good pics

Don't know about modders butHave one of these on the way from a m2m transaction. any idea if the lume overspill is an easy cleanup for a modder? Anyone with experience with this?
Don't know about modders but I am sure if you ask some of them on here they have probably come across this before as it seems to be such an issue on the LMPO. I asked my watch maker what he thought. He just said leave well enough alone. Mine is not too bad anyway. He said you would not believe the flaws he sees on Gens. lol. I would have definitely preferred a deeper filled lume but he considered that the batons were not good enough to get a good flawless job done.Have one of these on the way from a m2m transaction. any idea if the lume overspill is an easy cleanup for a modder?
