Noob Forged Carbon (FC) Diver is BACK in STOCK!

Beside the thickness (Noob a bit thicker than JF), The FONTS are indeed the exact same, correct? (I.e. Tails on Ones, etc)

It also seems NEITHER has the Old-Style Roo-like 4 (I.e. Like on Edgematic Datewheel for franken, correct?) Instead they all have pointed-top 4's...
Is ^^ that ^^ correct for FC Diver gens?

Did ANY FC Diver gens have that old style traditional non-pointed Roo 4? Thanks!!

The FC has both versions of the date wheels, very much like the SS version. So one shouldn't worry about the new or "old" style font in terms of accuracy.

Anyone try installing a profs x2AR xtal on their noob FC?

I'm trying to work out if it'll fit.

Profs says he hasn't tried to install his 42mm noob ROO xtal on a noob FC and therefore doesn't know if it'll fit.

Does anyone here know if 42mm noob ROO xtals are interchangable?

Yep - however, it's mostly a preference thing. Some people prefer 2xAR crystals to the stock rep crystals. The latest JF crystals are pretty much gen-standard at the moment IMO and don't really require 2xAR, however the latest noob crystals have been lacking, so it makes sense to go the 2xAR route for them.

That being said, could be wise to see how the new generation of noob AP's fare against JF (I believe we should be expecting some after the CNY break)

They are a little too cloudy to me, they are too reflective. 2xAR on the other hand is too anti-reflective and looks almost as if there is no crystal at all.

The New JF is just right. It doesn't reflect much light but at the same time has a nice shine to it like the gen.

I do love the look of 2xAR, but it had be a pain in the ass to maintain as the coating scratches quite easily.

Don't scratch nor rub the crystal. Or else, after a while, your double AR will be the biggest tell for your rep.
