I will wait for the Pepsi with the new movement from Noob. I already wanted to pull the trigger on the 3285 from Noob, but Tom many issues with that movement. Unfortunately Noob forgot the litte Crown between Swiss and Made.I really don't know why These guys make such obvious mistakes.

That is That would be a much more annoying flaw than some mentioned flaws (it isnt a flaw, see below post). Although gladly it cant see it from the other side of the room, like some smaller flaws can be seen

That coronet is not present on the gen 116710 which these are reps of. The coronet appeared on the 126710, which is a way to differentiate a batgirl from a batman that would have been put on a jubilee

Finally the price is more reasonable, a reliable movement with hands/dial that looks acceptable. The competition has been good!

Color me interested. I'm a relative neophyte to this hobby and have been trying in vein to get a good grip on all the tradeoffs when selecting a GMT rep. With luck the bezel won't be crap and I can be $500 poorer.

I got a gen bezel assembly and crystal waiting to go on a 116710ln. I wanted to get a VRF for that, what do you think. Would it make sense to go for the noob instead? I think I still prefer the vrf

My 116710 LN have ARF case + VR movement + all gen parts. I don't like proportions... I don't know why. When i wear my GMT Noob i find them much more harmonious

I get that bro. The ARF CGs are pretty skinny for a 11671x. Maybe get a VRF or one of these new Noob cases and swap all your gen parts in.

Either would be OK bro. I like the Noob more, the fit and finish on the BLRO is very nice. Of course we haven't seen the V11 IRL but doubt much has changed in the outer parts. VRF can have a rough rehaut ledge and I don't think the hands are as good. VRF CGs are a little wider, which is closer to the gen 11671x.

The inside is not, it would be milled to properly accommodate the true clone movement. They would not have had any reason to change the exterior. Time will tell.

How about the crown position? Isn't it the slightest bit lower on the 2824 based timebombs?

Yes, I'm sure the V11 has a tube hole drilled to line up with the VR movement so that aspect of the case would be different. Maybe that would explain the slightly different CGs as well, changed to better conform to the new crown position.

- Noob has finally done the significant upgrade, move to VR3185
- Maybe its my eyes, but the 6 and 9 indices look "fat" to me. Same as their Pepsi dial issue
- The Noob cases (atleast for me) were always the "go to" for my franken build, now with VR3185 fitted we don't need to worry about any more custom movement holder(s).
- While the 18 transition is still wrong (maybe there are speed bumps), the insert is pretty good ootb compared to the others in the market. It has got the proper 1 serif font and the blue color is pretty good (but could be a tad bit darker blue shade). In fact, I am starting to like this more over the GMF v3 insert.

Hope to see some real life photos soon from members who have order it.

Isn’t this the same movement as in the new BLNR noob v11 that everyone Was excited about?

No mate, this is not the VR movement unfortunately. We are starting to see how (bad) noob works.
