What you Guys think is more Gen-Like the Black 116520 or the 116500 ?

Noob or ARF? This has already been discussed in this thread...

Noob has been using the the same 116500 Black Dial for both the 116520 and the 116500 which is incorrect.
The Gen 116520 uses a different, wider font for the Rolex logo and text. The sub-dials are also a little more shinny on the Gen 116520 dial.

ARF uses the correct dials for both watches.

I mean Noob. I would take only Noob. For me is the Main-Reason the good Movement but i am not sure between 116520 and the 116500.So i think i have to take then the 116500. :D

Which one is the best without mods?

That is such an unbelievably lazy question. You are already on the right thread, so no excuses - just read it and make up your own mind.

Its always going to be subjective. It's like asking which is the better car - BMW, Audi or Mercedes. Everyone has their own opinion.

I have 5 of these Noob reps. Overall - they are outstanding out of the box. The biggest flaws I have discovered is that with V1, white dial - the whole thing is printed slightly off center. you can see this by looking at the gap between the rehaut and the seconds indices. The black dial did not have this problem. All the V2's are correct. Second issue - I've had is inconsistent bezel lettering brightness. I travel the China - so I see many of these. On a lot of them the lettering/numbering on the black ceramic bezel is very dim looking.

All of this should not dissuade someone from buying these outstanding watches. I open them up and regulate them - to within 3 seconds a day. The movement is impressive - it might even fool a jeweler who is not that experienced. Of course there are some tells when examing the movement. But overall I am amazed at the overall quality of the whole watch.

Do you consider the 316L Case to be V1 and the 904L Case to be V2?

Seems like there was a morph from V1 to V2. The white dial off center was fixed around September - Oct. At that point the bezels on most were still dim. Then the 904L showed up around Nov/Dec time frame and the bezels started being better but not consistently. So I would probably call the demarcation of V2 when 904L was introduced. BTW - besides the plastic cer-wrapping on the bracelet that says “904L” I cannot tell a difference. 316L seems just as shined and just as tough. Another way to get $100 out of us. Btw - for all of you who think you’re getting stiffed by TD’s I will say this - I travel to Beijing 8-10 times per year. I have a dealer that I work with who I trust and who trusts me. I have bought many many watches through this person. I have also comparisons shopper with other dealers and worked the price down to the absolute rock bottom. The price I pay for a Noob V2 in 904L is $700. That’s in China - paying cash Yuan - with a solid dealer and their lowest price. About the only real advantage I have is I can hand select the best samples and I don’t pay shipping. There is no way I would ever want to be an importer of these - just not enough margin!

Always great to hear from someone with hands on experience who is not just looking at pictures.

Most of the TDs around this site listed the Noob 4130 316L as only V1.
When the 4130 904L came out last fall, the price went up and it was listed as a new model. So it started over as 904L V1 in TD listings.

So now in January, a new version of the 116500 Black Dial has come out.
Members on this site are calling it "V2", and at least one TD has listed it as "V2 Updated Dial".

The design of the dials did not appear to change when the cases changed from 316L V1 to 904L V1.
These pictures are from the same TD's site showing the sub-dial changes to the Black 116500 Dial from 316L V1 to 904L V2.

The same TD is also listing the 116500 White Dial Noob as a "V2 Updated Dial".
These pictures from that same TD show very little or maybe even no difference has been made to the Noob White Dial 116500.

Maybe this is why some TDs are saying there is no 904L V2 White 116500 Noob?

I have also seen no hint or pictures of any dial changes to the Noob 116520 Black or White versions.
The current White 116520 looks really good but uses an incorrect 116500 font for the Rolex logo and the wording below it.
The current Black 116520 was using the incorrect 116500 dial.

For comparison, here is my 116500 in white dial. Should arrive in the next couple of days.

The ARF dial is still better, but I wouldn't bother changing that. It's definitely improved.

Get the bezel swapped and crystal gasket issue sorted and you're done :)
