I've read this thread more than once and I really thought I knew everything there is to know about Daytonas and all the different versions and updates. But I'm too thick to know if this is the updated dial version of the Noob V2 or is it still the same thickness than before ( this pic was shown to me as an example of what the watches available right now look like). The subdials still seem a bit thick to my eye.

Feel free to delete my post if it's against any rules, I seriously couldn't decide.

If I compare it to this gen here:

there's still too much black over and under the numbers on the subdials. Not a lot, but it's obvious. Unless the watch I've posted is still the old stock version..

Is shaving the lugs a must on the Noob ? I am considering working on the case.

Anyone know the current stock status on the Noob 116500LN (black or white dial) ? Last I inquired there was still a lead time particularly for white dial.

Actual is it not possible cause of Chines New Year 2019, they will not make them before.
After 11.Feb. they will start again.

So you need to be patient.

Yes, but now the CNY 2019 starts (Chinese New Year Holidays 2019) lots of productions and factories are closing latest on 23.Jan until latest 7.Feb (some start on 11.Feb) depending on their "work"
So now you will not get the QC before Chinese New Year (note: when you order now, cause of pre-roder procedure)

My watchmaker tested my Noob and ARF Daytonas and both passed 10 bar without him having to do anything (well he only needed to regrease the crown seal on the ARF, but Noob was fine for 10 bar out of the box)

And I shower with my watches on

Which TD are you using that does testing?
the one I'm using doesnt.

Can u imagine if Noob actually corrected the sundial flaw in a coming version? Hey a guy can wish right?

Meantime, I'm happy with my V1 Noob (I got it last May so it was one of the first batch) with gen crystal. The watch has been reliable, accuracy and power reserve remains top notch for any watch...let alone a rep.

I don't really trust the TD pressure test as they only test 3bar (which is nothing really).
My watchmaker tests all my watches.

For waterproof what’s important is low pressure, to 3 bars, damage flaws are most of times on low pressure not high, if watch is waterproof on low test it will be for sure on high one, but inverse is not warranty, you could have waterproof on high and not low.
Under pression gaskets takes their place and well protect the case, but in low one if gaskets not good or case shape not good, gaskets could not do their job and cause damage. It’s why watches are tested in low pressure and not especially in high one.
