I wonder if the noise is any worse with the crystal caseback
Ouch... That’s a hell of a hike!I was going to order the sapphire crystal case back but it's almost doubled in price it's 189 euro I'm sure they were 99 euro before?

I made my own by buying the cheap version from eBay, sanding off the naff Daytona logo and replacing the cheap mineral glass with a sapphire crystal. The whole thing cost me a smidge over £30.

Glad to be a help! The first one I bought had a mineral crystal - maybe they’ve upgraded it... I hadn’t fully read that latest listing. Cool - I keep meaning to order another one for my Frankentona!Looks great I've ordered it dunno how I never found it! It mentions sapphire in the listing? They definitely should of left the Daytona etch off but never mind it's still a bargain!

Is a great cheap option if only they can make the display window a bit bigger like the more expensive Thomas Preik has that will be amazing!Glad to be a help! Hmm.. Have you got the watch waterproofed by a watch Smith? I usually don't have my reps submerged in water unless that has been done. It's arrived today that was fast they had UK shipping looks good any tips for fitting it? I have the proper tools to remove Rolex case backs I'm just wondering if you should lube the seal or anything like that?
Thanks Karl
No i never plan to ever go in water with it even though they say it's waterproof, I've just tried fitting the aftermarket clear case and it won't fit properly the seal is completely different size to original to so I've refitted original case for now not sure what the problem is?
