Thanks for the advice guys. I hadn't thought about the buckle actually. I was going to order mine from puretime and it doesn't look like there's an option to choose the ceramic with the leather strap, otherwise I'd do that and buy the SS ceramic from you - If it was for sale.

QC pics arrived

Hi guys, my QC pics came today from Toro. The watch looks amazing, it has the greenish AR as per the gen, chrono looks to be aligned, the date too, but one thing that concerns me is the lugs, can you please as more experienced have a look and see if it is small cracks that I'm seeing, or it's just me being picky. On to the pictures:

That is how they made the lugs. I have had 2 and both the 7750 and 7753 are that way. The gen is one solid piece.

Good to hear that it is not a fault with that particular watch. Apart from that, any other problems from first sight?

That sharp line at the lugs is a result of a hard internal corner on a mirror polished case. I have the watch... no worries. It looks even better in person. One of the best factory AR's I've seen on a rep!

Thanks, it's coming to me tomorrow, can't wait to see it in person. Toro is a really good dealer and time from order to delivery (UK) was 11 days. There was a mixup with track IDs and I nearly thought that it was delivered to a wrong address, but luckily this was not the case.

I will report when I have the watch.

I just got mine Timewalker from Puretime. Do you guys have the 3 o-clock small minute point problem?

Mine pointer in the 3 o-clock dial is pretty loosened...I wonder if this is defective and shall strongly ask for a replacement...

someone said it is a unavoidable problem for A7753. Not sure if this is true...

I have not ordered a MB buckle but I would wager it is likely between 25 and 40 USD. Just a guess from the Panerai and IWC buckles I have ordered in the past.

Hi, i'm a newbie to this forum. After reading this topic I new the MB Timewalker was for me, as this is my first rep watch i'm a little unsure what to expect. So please help! I've ordered off puretime and they have sent me the QC pics. Ive just one question.. Am I being fussy as when I look at the image of the back of the watch, looking through the glass on the rotor, the letters seem a bit sloppy and the 'A' ine the word 'MADE' seems not very clear. Any help or advice would be great..

The first thing you need to know is NEVER try to set the date when the time is between 10 and 2. You will screw up the movement.

Thanks for the advice coop and your right about me being to picky, I've no experience of what I should be looking at and what's the norm. I'm a complete newbie. I'm just so excited and want my first rep to be a good one, hence any advice is greatly appreciated.
