Those photos are spectacular!!! Do you have any tips for an amateur photographer?
They CAN'T be phone pix.
Would you share what you used to take these (camera/lens)?
I admire you talent.
Thanks mate…really appreciate your feedback.
You can achieve such pictures with almost any modern camera setup. Some almost with your phone when willing to sacrifice some quality.
My main tips would be:
Use a tripod
Use a big window on a cloudy day (very smooth light)
Use some cardboard (white and black) to block and bounce light.
For maximum quality stay with your cameras base iso (50 or 100) and for some detailed shots you most likely want to use a macro lens or some sort of macro tube.
Ohhh…and don’t forget to clean your watch like a maniac…those closeup shots will reveal every speck of dust even when you won’t see them with your bare eyes.
If you have any specific questions feel free to ask anytime and I’m more than happy to try to help you out. Its not that hard once you‘ve figured out how to use light and your camera and lenses. The camera and lenses are just tools…you won’t be able to recreate what a carpenter did with his tools only by buying the same tools. You would need to learn how to work with them…same with your camera and lenses.
