No response - From Hont

Hello All,

Can anyone help me. Last thursday i sent payment for my first watch to Hont. I have not had any communication since. Is this normal or have i been scammed?

It's CNY, most factories don't re-open until the 6th February, so your TD may be waiting until at least then before next steps.

Fair enough. That is a little more comforting. I was just a bit worried as I'm sure you could imagine being the first one. Thanks for your advice though.

I have a deal with Hont as well, paid him beginning of January, but factories were starting to close down. Said he’ll be back February 10th. Just a waiting game, and luckily you don’t have to wait as long as I have. I think the waiting is good for me though because now I get to inquire about triangular shipping or some options as I’m in the US!

Yeah I did get a response yesterday which eased my worry! Hopefully all goes well and I will keep the journey posted for others to see. Once I've broke the cherry I'll probably order a load more! Let me know how you get on too

I wouldn't panic yet, Chinese New Year lasts two weeks. Imagine shutting down a business for two weeks and then trying to catch up. Shipping companies will also have a backlog, so that may be delayed as well. This time of year is notoriously slow due to their new year celebration, but it picks up after a few weeks and returns to normal. You should be good

Hello , new member . Can you please advise . I sent Eric G/time a whats app req. to start a message yesterday abt 14 hrs ago . I havent recvd any reply or confirmation yet . If this is normal can you advise ? Maybe I am not doing something correct to start the process ? I heard good things about GT but do not see on RWI list of TD’s ? Thanks
