Hey folks, how are you doing?
I'm new to this community and to the rep watch world in general. I currently own two reps: an Omega Aqua Terra and a Rolex Datejust from Clean. I'm Brazilian and got both from a local dealer. It’s more expensive than buying directly from a TD, but it’s faster.

The thing is, I don’t really trust my dealer. He once tried to sell me an Oyster Perpetual from EW claiming it was Clean, and my Aqua Terra turned out to be N1 instead of the VSF I requested. Now I’m worried that the GMT Pepsi he’s offering might not be a legit Clean either. It comes with the stickers and all, but after those previous experiences, I’m cautious.

The price also seems a bit too low considering he's the second middleman in the chain. Around $700 with box and papers,

So I’d like to start importing my watches directly from trusted TDs, but I’ve had a hard time finding one that ships to Brazil reliably. I reached out to a few, and the only one who gave me solid support was CTime — but unfortunately, he’s not shipping to Brazil at the moment due to customs issues.

So I’ve got two questions:

  1. Can anyone recommend a trusted dealer who ships to Brazil without major issues?
  2. Could you take a look at the GMT Pepsi my local dealer is offering and tell me if it looks like a legit Clean or a fake Clean?
Unfortunatelly the images dont have the best quality because they are a screenshot of a video, take that into account, please.

    Thank you my friends!

Up! Wondering if someone have a strong opinion based on the pics
Your dealer sounds like a dick, I’d stay away if I were you...😅

The visual differences between Clean and fake Clean are getting so small that it can be hard to tell even with good pictures, let alone with poor ones like the ones you got. Take a look at this one, for example:

I would reach out to some of the TDs here and ask about shipping to Brazil. I’m sure some of them can help you out. That way, you can at least be sure you’re getting what you pay for.

The guy who used before burned you twice and you're even thinking about using him again? I wouldn't trust anything from him. As mentioned above, there are fake clean that use the same case set with different innards. Best to either stick to a trusted dealer or member to member sales, so at least you have the pieces properly vetted
