what's with the extra thickness of both of these, the blue one is about 1mm thicker and the white gold is about 1.5mm thicker than the regular 300

Figured it out, guess its the gimmicky thing on the case back

However, the NTTD provoked the same non-reaction initially from me when it came out a couple of years ago, but then started to slowly grow on me, and now I actually crave one.

If a rep can be made with the functional caseback animation, I'll probably buy one. So far though, this anniversary model just makes me want to wear my 2531.80. Definitely going to check one out at an AD when I get a chance

Yeah, I forgot about that... Certainly a cool incentive for serious collectors or enthusiasts. But tbh, I'm not much of a "geeky" fan or collector, I simply just wear my watches.

So I really don't care as much as a dedicated collector certainly will about hidden stuff that nobody will see while wearing... Like the latest Snoopy for example. 🫣

I like it without the red text myself. Case/Crystal is like the NTTD model, lollipop seconds hand from Spectre, applied markers on wave dial is Casino Royale 2220.80, and white text on wave dial is Brosnan 2531.80
