Hello everyone, happy to be joining such a knowledgeable community. This isn't my first rodeo with reps. Got my first gold Datejust when I was 14 and a couple of
chinatown specials over 30 years ago. Always been an enthusiast and now that I'm much older I can appreciate horological history and engineering. Being late in my career i've had the opportunity to purchase a few gens over the years and throughly enjoy wearing them. But it takes me a long time to pull the trigger on a new watch, especially if it's going to cost me. I've got 7.5" wrist and not all watches fit right (for me). Trying them out at a dealer for a few minutes doesn't really do justice. I've tried many watches that I loved but didn't feel right when I tried them on. So I'm hoping that going down the rep path will enable me to wear them for a while and if I really love the feel and look, then I'm happy to invest in the gen. Anyways, from what I've already seen on this forum, the reps have come a long way from when I bought them last, so excited to start my journey. Will be posting some questions soon once I narrow down which one to start with.
Thanks again for all you support and valuable experiences.
