Hey guys , awab here . i've never been a watch person , let alone a luxury enthusiast .

A couple weeks by i was at a meeting and spotted what would be my obsession for the next week , something i never usually pay attention to. I can't tell you why but i found myself fall absolutely in love with the Santos de cartier , what a work of art honestly. Since then I'm down this rabbit hole of TD's , QC , factories and all the fancy jargon . I genuinely just want to thank you all for creating this space and maintaining it , I'm grateful that people took the time to make this journey easier for new-comers.

Now im not sure if i should be asking any questions on here , but while doing my research on the cartier santos 35MM BVF which seems like the best factory, much as you'd expect from a rep they are definetly flaws, but my concern is the conflicting opinion on how noisy the rotor of the Miyota 9015 is . Does anyone have any pointers on that ? a noisy watch sounds like a bad time. If so I am contemplating purchasing a Gen but i figured I'd ask on here first.

Thanks again for everything guys and hope you're having a great day.

Hello and WELCOME from the official RWI reception desk!

You are receiving this introduction because you either posted in the "new members say hi" section or —for the first time(s)— elsewhere. In the latter case, consider introducing yourself in the aforementioned section.

If you haven't already, please make sure to read all relevant sticky threads. They contain important and essential information such as the forum rules! Most importantly the sales rules, because you will NOT yet be eligible / allowed to sell unless you meet certain criteria / are certified first.

A good starting point is this list of resources on RWI:

Please also take another look at this important sticky that you should already have seen after logging on for the first time:

This quick anti-fraud guide is essential if you are about to order from a dealer for the first time:

If you need any further assistance, feel free to contact me or @Feefo!

We will gladly help, but please allow some time for PM responses as we have lifes outside of RWI!
