Hello Everyone,

I have been lurking on the forum for the past years every now and then and due to the lovely people in this forum i ended up with two amazing purchases in the past and am currently looking for some more watches to add to the collection and would massively appreciate some of the pros in this forum to help me decide on which factory to choose and or which models are closest to gen ootb -> every small input helps make a final decision.

I know the debate regarding whats the best version for x are frowned upon, however i do think they help us newish people out a ton. I am still extremely happy with the daytona panda i bought a year ago which was considered to be one of the closest to gen at the time, however even in the past I struggled with making an informed decision on which models have their pros and cons.

I am looking for an Royal Oak in 37 or 39 mm aswell as a Nautilus and maybe even a daytona on an oyster strap. I just want something thats as good as it gets ootb, as i am not yet familiar with modding.

After reading the threads for a couple of days I came to the conclusion that the best variants of the models above appear to be the 15450 in 37mm from ZF ( i like the grey / blue dial more even though i heard the white dial is closer to gen ). The only Royal Oak i wouldn’t be able to pull off is 41mm due to size hence probably the best clones are out of the picture for me.

Regarding the Nautilus I think the best right now would be the 5712 from PPF v4 ( atleast thats what puretime etc call their updated version with the foldable clasp ) which came across as the most close to genuine as of right now -> if you have any other nautilus models that are closer to gen please let me know! (i.e. 5711 white dial ppf?)

Regarding the daytona i heard its a tough battle between btf and clean however btf seems to be slightly ahead especialy with their dials( please correct if wrong )

Another add would be a calatrava however i did not get too much information other than the information in the two NWBIG lists going around.

Thanks to everyone that might be able to help out,
cheers

Hello and WELCOME from the official RWI reception desk!

You are receiving this introduction because you either posted in the "new members say hi" section or —for the first time(s)— elsewhere. In the latter case, consider introducing yourself in the aforementioned section.

If you haven't already, please make sure to read all relevant sticky threads. They contain important and essential information such as the forum rules! Most importantly the sales rules, because you will NOT yet be eligible / allowed to sell unless you meet certain criteria / are certified first.

A good starting point is this list of resources on RWI:

Please also take another look at this important sticky that you should already have seen after logging on for the first time:

This quick anti-fraud guide is essential if you are about to order from a dealer for the first time:

If you need any further assistance, feel free to contact me or @Feefo!

We will gladly help, but please allow some time for PM responses as we have lifes outside of RWI!

Hi buddy @fvmne

For the Royal Oaks you can look at the ZF Factory ones. The PPF V4 of the Patek 5712 is the current best version made.

As for Daytonas, actually the ZF version Daytona is using almost identical parts suppliers as Clean Factory. You can consider that.

If there is anything we can help you with any queries, please feel free to EMAIL: [email protected] or PM us here.

Thanks
