Posted this earlier, apparently, I pulled a newb move and didn't see the New Members section here. So, here I am again...lol Thanks @CF_Stan
Greetings everyone,
I found this forum while on an internet search, which of course always leads to reddit haha
My name is Jake, and I am in the Southern USA
I've been in instructor in a few fields for several years, and I whereas most instructors and teachers handle intros with "tell us one cool thing about yourself", I am a little different...I have students introduce themselves with a silly/obscure fact about themselves.
So, given this is a watch forum, I'll mention something that I'm sure 99% of you will face-palm when you read it: I hold Invicta watches on a pedestal.
Okay now that the laughing has died down, for the record, it's not the super gawdy/flashy ones, and it all started with my grandparents buying me an Invicta when I was about 15yrs old. It came with a life-lesson from my grandfather, which truthfully I didn't value as a 15yr old, but as I matured it ended up being a lesson I too have passed to a younger generation. Sadly I don't have that watch any more but my wife remembered that story and bought me a similar one early in our marriage.
For those of you who stuck around, thanks for reading and feel free to drop a comment or shoot me a DM any time.
