Other than the faux front balance wheel it seems decent.

The decoration is pretty nice and looks like most things roughly are as, and where they are on the gen. Balance wheel on the back and the rotor are a decent effort.

The thickness also seems good.

Off course I can’t know for sure just by judging these pictures.

I don’t know what it exactly would require to make a front balance move, but I guess it’s not an easy task.

Fit and finish of the case and bracelet are good, typical ZF quality. The fake front bridge is at least in the right place unlike the APSF.

However they couldn't bother to correctly make the bridge rose gold. And obviously when you look remotely closely all the fake stuff looks awful. I don't know why they even bother to rep these gens when it's such a tall order. It must mean enough people buy them.

C for effort, sorry ZF. Just being consistent on the gold color rather than having 3 diff tones of gold which are very offputting would have been a major improvement

In my opinion, the 3129 open-worked movement based on the 3120 would have probably looked better as there is only one balance wheel, no fakery needed.

Maybe these models should not be repped! Front and back visual flaws are just too much! These models are collectors items that show AP heritage in the sophistication of its horology , art and attention to details . This is like trying to rep Jacon & Co. or Hublot Ferrari limited edition.

Knowing the attention to details standards in this forum , i would not even foresee a minimum demand for this model.

Remember not everyone bothers about details or not as knowledgeable on flaws as those on this forum. There is large market out there of people who buy regardless of the flaws we nit pick about which is why they roll them out anyway . As usual , the wait for V2/V3 it is LOL

I get your opinion of course . However, this model would not even require nit picking ! It may have some potential in the future though (Maybe V10 lol) . For those who do not care it is totally their choice and call of course. As long as you are happy with it. Thats what matters at the end of the day!
