Are there any 47mm all-polished Submersible models? I have never seen one.

Serial number is a “c” version, case back engravings are not the best...this case is an “a” series all polished bezel no markers, it should be an A serial number.

Bezel numbers 15, 30, 45 engravings also don’t look as sharp as they can as per gen.

Watch looks great otherwise though, i'm sure there are more things another expert can find...

If it's using the same mid-case as it's V6F predecessor, then it won't fit OTB. The bracelet would need some modding.

It's using a different mid-case, but I'm not sure whether the bracelet would fit or not

Hi
A, B and C serials has polished bezel so it accurate from that perspective.

Interested to see if they’ve addressed the bezel, lugs shape and crown guard profile. The previous C series that was released back in Dec 2015 (by KW/V6F I think?) had some issues there. Namely: bezel edge profile was too flat and not rounded enough on the edge, lugs were too skiny and short, and the crown guard needed a little work to makes its profile more accurate to a gen A-F series.
Some discussion on this was had over on RG at the time.
I own both the old DSN version (pretty poor but only one available at the time) and replaced it with the 2015 version.... now interested in this one if it’s an upgrade.... and yes I probably should just save the money a buy a gen but that would be too easy :)

Cheers

Did the current V6 024 R series get the updated bezel, lugs and CG?

Hi
From what I read/saw on the R’s release the lugs were improved but I didn’t buy one so can’t speak from first hand experience.
The CG is different on an R series so can’t use this a reference here. The old KW C series’s one was ok though - you had enough ‘meat’ on it to mod to the correct shape.
Hard to comment on the bezel as it’s difficult to see from pics and I’ve not seen any reviews.

I might buy one of these new C’s although I’m hesitant as I don’t want to if it still has issues with the lugs. They look way better in the pics on Intime and as posted here though... Everything else I can live with.

Cheers

My only real concern is that blue AR. Clearly the AR should be colourless.

Hi

Yes is does look a little too blue in some of the pics.

That said many of the PAMs from this period had a blue or purple hue to the AR and were not clear. I had a gen crystal fitted to a DSN 024A that was from a gen 25D, I’ve also owned a gen 2005 112 - both had a bluish AR. Panerai changed this from year to year depending on the model.

I’d be interested to see if the gen crystal fits this version as I still have it. Up until now the only rep sub case I’ve come across that will take a gen crystal are the old school DSN’s. All the others use a slightly thinner crystal so the Gen one sat too high.

I’m slowly talking myself into to buying yet another 024 rep....

Cheers

I think the simplicity of the watch and Panerai using a 7750 movement makes these a great buy in rep form. I wanted a gen 024A as well (just so nice) but can't fathom the used market pricing on them. Ultimately you're getting a watch from a brand that is out of the limelight now, and a generic ETA movement. The reps are so close now its incredible.

I also have 2 DSN power reserve models that scratch the itch for me buying an gen Pams in the future, save the PAM233.

Exactly the reason I sold my Gen 112 , the PAM reps are so good I couldn’t justify having the cash tied up in a gen PAM. I have a noob v2 243 which is excellent and the V6F 024C which is ok but not quite where I want it... hence the questions on this thread about this new one!

As Chopperharris75 stated bluish AR isn't wrong for the C-series. Colorless AR only started to be introduced in the mid-2000s. How blue the AR should be would be difficult to ascertain without the gen 024C side by side to compare..
