Ah, tommy... That lovely Flieger of yours has recently become a much harder watch to find!

Piccked this old piece up on ebay (mainly for the acrylic bezel and the movement), thinking of building something non-branded custom with a different case (FF like maybe).
Threw on a silver tropic rubber and it wears quite well and has a great 60's/70's feel:

My opinion only but I wouldn't do anything other than wear this. Clasic vint. watch and looks great the way it is.

I agree with rolman, this watch is awesome looking.

Omega Ploprof

Hi, Gang; last posting of "Omega Week." This Ploprof I purchased from a fellow RWI member & I'm impressed with it. It's big (of course), weighty, attractive, and a good time-keeper with excellent lume. I've gotten comments on it today, the first day I wore it! One question was: "What is that??" Heh! Had a jolly good time explaining what it was. New straps to fit my wrist, and, yeah, the clasp is on upside down; I'll fix that tomorrow. (adjustments & cutting reminded me of why I hate rubber straps! (Sorry for the blurries; unsteady hand & lost mini-tripod.)) dave:
