Thanks for the info, I just thought about putting a 3235 into my old ARF Datejust 36. And my GEN Datewheel is too far left to the date windows from the ARF Datejust 36 stock dial XD

Gen datejust 36 until the very recent update are powered by 3135 movements. The ones since like a month have now been upgraded to 3235 but they are not repped yet

Very interested to read the (future) reviews from the early buyers of this 226659. All the optimism noted on this VSF is encouraging.
For now I need to study the Oysterflex band sizing options to fit a larger wrist.

No idea what rep factories are going to do but with gen it is fairly easy. There will be letters like E and F. The numerical position in the alphabet corresponds with the number of links. Ie E is 5 links, F is 6. Took me some research to figure this out exactly. This was much more helpful than going off of wrist size due to differences in wrist shape. Again though, not sure how reps are going to translate.

I'm excited to see if this can be used to make a proper franken Dj41 finally!

I personally think that the watch looks too good to dissected it and put the movement on a dj41. Because from what my TD told me is that vsf won’t be selling any parts separately hence why they stop selling their xtal’s ofc that might chance in the future. Hopefully vsf also brings about a dj with a 3235 or 3135.

How much would it cost to get one of these serviced? Are we talking about gen Rolex service costs, that's more than the purchase price.
I can get a a2824 watch serviced for $120. I know a lot of people recommend getting reps serviced when they are new to increase reliability.

I can't speak for watchmakers in US, but personal experience in AUS is around $200 for a 3135 clone. My last gen 3135 service earlier this year was just under $1K AUD, which is a fairly typical cost for just a service (no parts replaced).

It seems kind of weird that a Rolex 3135 cost $1000 to service and a a3135 clone cost $200. Are the asian clone movements the same amount of work to disassemble, clean, oil and regulate? Is this the ROLEX Luxury Tax?
