Oh now i See. Do you think its a Real vrf (new Version)?
In German bierhaus they mean its a Good Exemplar.

It is the newer VRF Pepsi Max, the insert is the same as other samples here. It looks like they have started using a different batch of hands so other current samples are probably going to be the same.

I'm not usually big on hands differences and all, but this is a drastic change that even I can tell the difference. :p

what a shame...hope they fix the problem fast.

Sigh. I guess V2 does apply here, but it’s a downgrade because of the hands. Waiting for my qc photos myself

Where can one find these kind of (v1) hands? Watch parts here on the forum but elsewhere? Thanks

Some more eye candy, as usual lighting really is everything, can't describe how beautiful it looks in person.

+1 mate, can’t seem to get a good picture that compliments it. Looks far better in person. Really enjoying wearing it at the moment. Have you got anything planned for it?

I was considering swapping the crystal but honestly I'm enjoying it as is. I would rather expand my collection personally but later on I might come back to it

Pepsi came in today with some natural light daylight pics. Super pleased with them! Color. Crystal is not bad at all. I will swap to the Clark crystal though. But watch is on point.

and then I was surprised by a date just from the GF.
and some car parts for the M3. Best way to my heart.
stay tuned for crystal update.

I have handled the Noob a lot and haven't even gotten my QC for this, so my info is incomplete. But I see no argument for the Noob anymore. Colors aren't gen on either, but to my eye the colors on the VRF Max are pretty close to the 2020 gens I have seen (lighter than the MkII and MkII inserts, but less pink than MkI). With the VR you get a non-timebomb movement, and correct crown position and CG shape. With the Noob you get a one piece insert (cool, but they still can't get the transition point right, and the red is sometimes just brown), better rehaut engraving, correct time setting direction, and a much better crystal. But that timebomb movement... I'd rather know I have to replace the crystal than always wonder when I'll need to find a new CHS or have custom work done to install a VR.

Clark crystal installed on Batman. Not sure if it’s over magnified. Stock crystal on VR Pepsi. I feel like it’s under magnified. But I can’t remove the movement retaining screws for the life of me. They are going to strip.

Mate the VRF has gen like movement screws, you don't have to remove them, you have to screw them in, the movement will become loose so that you can turn it and allign the movement screws with the grooves in the case and then remove it out of the case.

Both magnified are wrong

So then it’s a crystal gasket issue. Pepsi is still stock.

I will practice on the Batman since I can remove that no problem. I will see what mm that stock Batman crystal gasket is.

VR screws just won’t budge. Even if I just wanted to loosen to just get it out.

Both vr watches I’ve bought I thought the Clark’s was a big improvement. Not sure if magnification is correct though.
