Hey RWI community, My name is Steve or you can call me ElonTusk LOL. For whatever reason I have this freakin sudden addiction to SuperClones. IDK if it was some advertising I saw one day, but here I am now a part of this community and already received tracking from geek time after talking on Whatsapp for the last few weeks about my order and going through the QC images. Literally, just picked up a watch winder from Amazon so I'm already ready for my watches to get here.

Already looking to get 3 more watches from GeekTime and I noticed Puretime has a larger inventory of watches. Not sure if they are buying from the same factories or not but it seems their inventory is larger.

Does anyone else here like 45mm or larger watches? Anything you can recommend? I like a big watch.

Hello and welcome to RWI!

You found the right place!

I used to like watches larger than 45mm, but as my taste got more sophisticated, I realized that most watches over 43/44mm look not ideal on my relatively slim wrist (around 159mm to 164mm, depending on the time of day). I still have my Bulova Moonwatch (45mm) which I won't sell and I actually wear quite often. But currently, my personal "sweet spot" sizes for new watches are anything between 40 and 42mm, but I overall wear and own watches in the 34 to 45mm range.

So I'm not really the right guy for particular model recommendations for large case watches, but what I think are watches over 45mm that are generally considered cool are divers like for example the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5mm or a lot of different models from Panerai (44 to 47mm are actually in fact considered "normal" sizes for Panerai).

Other generally considered-as-cool big watches are Pilot / Flieger watches from brands like Zenith or IWC which can easily go up to case sizes of 50mm, for some extreme models like IWC's "Big Pilot" even up to 55mm, or so. I'm sure you'll discover lots of other interesting big watches as you browse RWI and the TD sites.

Remember that geektime is not a trusted dealer here.
As for inventory, I wouldn't really call it that. All TDs source from the same factories and have in principle access to the same watches. But sometimes a TD has a particular relationship with a particular factory which translates in faster access.
Websites are rarely up-to-date so the best practice is always to ask the TD if he can source a particular watch. There's even some TDs like Lucy who will match the price of the lowest TD that offers the watch you're looking for (she has no website).
