New to Reps. Going to be I. NYC Today. Anyone know any legit reps out in nyc? I live 40 mins from the city

Even in places where us Westerners may think it's easy (and at some point it reportedly was), like in Bangkok for example, times have changed and - be it due to increased scrutiny from authorities, or whatever

Actually, from my personal experience, in Bangkok it has never been easier to buy high end reps. During/after the pandemic the sales ramped up, even more than before. Besides the usual low-end reps, you’ll find a pretty good selection of high end reps from the known factories in Bangkok, especially MBK Center. Prices are relatively fair, +- the same like ordering from TDs incl. shipping. Picked up nice watches during the last 24 months there.. Frequent Traveller to Thailand here, multiple times per year, since more than 12 years.

But of course, this must not apply to other international cities around the globe.

Back in 2021 I remember some reports from expats in BKK that in particular at MBK a lot of the old dealers with prime merchandise that used to be there had been decimated.

So either someone had a wrong impression or they're back.

Canal street stuff used to be controlled by Vietnam Chinese groups in Chinatown.
I did have a chance to meet some of these guys in China over dinner and some drinks.
The way they smuggle in truckload of replicas were amazing. They had "special" connections to do that.
Non of the boxes even passed through customs. It was arranged off the commercial plane via military vehicles.
This was many many years back.
