lol...Anyone who knows Rolex will know it´s a fake, and anyone who doesn´t, will presume it´s a fake.
So, you don´t have where to run....

The contact parts of the watch really doesn´t matter that much, ´cause the gold wears not only where the watch meats the skin, but in some places outside in the middle too.

So, the same care that you would have to have with a full gold model, you will have to have with this TT one. Washing it everytime you take it out of the box, and even if you don´t, you need to wash it occasionally.
The only difference, is that the full gold model have a GEN counterpart, and the TT is a fantasy at all. =)

if I were to purchase a fluted bezel I think it would look less 'fake'. I could also get a full SS band.

This thread stands on its own. Please don't generalize. We are mostly tight lipped about personal taste.

Hehe... look at this thread. Since then, I bought a BK/WM9 YM and am hoping to offload the Day-Date which will be arriving back in my hands from repair shortly so I can finance a PAM or Hublot, perhaps... or maybe a solid 18k gold insert for the YM... great problems to have here

TT YMs are ~$15k as opposed to the more expensive gold/diamond combo DD. In my experience so far, hardly anyone even notices watches, so it's best to buy what you like.
