It has improved with the updated P.9000 movement with the balance wheel @7. But still no super rep.

I've seen a gen up close and I would say it's literally almost dead on except for the open caseback

That may be true, and it also has the domed sapphire crystal, but it can't be a super rep anyway, the crown functions completely different to the gen and the GMT IS 24 hour, not 12 as in the gen, also the power reserve is faux..... still a stunning rep and just all round beautiful piece... Here's mine

Wouldn't the new onr be a super rep now that they have corrected the gmt function to 12hr?

As long as everything else is up to par with the gen, that is a distinct possibility. You never know with the factories, sometimes they mess up on something that they've done right on the previous version. Cross your fingers.
