I have a number of rolex and tudor reps but the panerai bug has bit and i'm on the search for a couple of models and looking for recommendations as to model and factory to take a look at.

I want to get one of each of the classic lines perhaps a 380 for the radomir and a 111 or 112 for the luminor, my basic goals are
- no bigger than 45, currently i have nothing bigger than 42
- reliable movement
- sandwich dial
- simple and classic style, a second hand perhaps but no other complications
- i'd prefer to stay around $500 for the two watches if possible

Can anyone please recommend a 'super-rep' model and factory that is loved here?

I generally order from intime as a TD so referencing that site would be amazing.

Thanks a lot... Bill

Can't say enough good things about my Noob 372. When it's in the right light it's absolutely striking and there's no way anyone will know it's a rep on the wrist. It's slightly larger than you want at 47mm. But as many have said here it wears small and stays snug on the wrist.

Your choices are perfect. You can reference the pam guide in the pam section to see which models and factories are super rep or not. The pam 111 , you want the noob v4. The 380, you want h factory v2.

The problem with some of the pams is that they are going out of stock or discontinued. The two listed above you should be fine. You should always email.the td first to ask about stock

Anything with closed caseback. What comes into my mind right now (and corresponds to your requirements) is the new Pam 727. Sandwich dial, clean, auto, small second, date, good strap, mini fiddy case, 44 mm

He might find that case to thick even though it's not to wide

Excluding the budget considerations (and the links from the TDs, you can ask them for the latest pricing), only the 026, 111, 112, 176, 177 and 292J fit the bill.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm checking out all the recommendations. Right now it's probably the 380 and 176...

111 is garbage imo. Dial is jacked.
Look on Panerai site. Most 44mm are available

Take a look at the PAM 390. The noob edition is very hard to find or maybe even discontinued? The H fac is pretty damn good IMHO. I know toro is running an INCREDIBLE deal on the boutique models right now.
