New TC Sub bezel problems

TC posted a YouTube video at the end of that page. Watch that video (specifically at 0:59) and you will see that he is able to turn the bezel with ease using only two fingers. I can turn the bezel on my ceramic in a similar fashion.

However, on my TC V6 I need to apply a great deal of pressure downward using three fingers to turn the bezel. I've turned the bezel over 400 full rotations in the past three days and don't see any improvement from "wear and tear". It seems to me a tolerance is off and something needs to be sanded or possibly only a new assembly with better tolerance would work.
Sorry to hear that. Please keep us posted

Did you get any more feedback from TC?

I never reached out to him about the bezel issue. I plan to take the bezel apart first and see what's going on, maybe mess with the washer. If that doesn't solve it I'll probably just pick up a new TC bezel or a ST bezel.

Eh, it's not the biggest problem in the world. "Blah, the bezel on my gen-like rep is stiff" is such a first world problem. I'll report back once I take the bezel apart and get an idea of what's causing the dilemma.

Hey, mine is being shipped to me next week. Once I get it I'll report back to you too. I'm sure it will be fine. Did you try some lube on it? If you have any hair clippers at home, I think the oil that comes with them in the little containers might work for this. This is just my opinion. I haven't tried any of this.

How do you know when it will be shipped? I ordered my V6 on October 23rd

Does anyone know if the bezel on the TC YM is similar, where it needs pressure to be turned? Or is it a totally different assembly/mechanism? Anyone with a YM chime in?

Turning the Bezel on the TC YM is really easy and how TC says it "a bit on the softer side". Gen Bezel turns not THAT soft I think..

I wish I could tell you about my TC Sub V6, I found an empty packet envelope on my doorstep, (wasn't signed for) from Thomas Caddell 4 days ago now, no response from him at all as I write this. The envelope wasn't properly sealed but had all the correct documents from him. I know he can be slow to respond, and if you read his blog, he can be unforgiving towards those that pester him but I think this is an issue.

I think this thread has turned into a general complaint thread about TC.

In case of bezel problems (or any other) on a premium rep like a TC Sub, I would suggest taking it to a local watch smith, in order to get the problem solved. If you have not got any experience in repairing watches, I would keep my hands off. Tried several times, but regretted it every time.. ;-)

My new tcV6lv was stiff, I took it apart, cleaned and lubed it(I posted a thread on it) now it's smooth and clicks perfect. No complaint. A couple hundred turns and a few showers with it probably would have done the same.(and NO I didn't bend the bezel ring like some people swear can't be done without bending)

Lol I've been reading the debate regarding a proper bezel removal tool and just a knife. I'm about to receive my tc lv in a week with both black and green insert and I want to be able to switch up.
