I did not see any QC issues. Looks like your TD picked out a good piece for you.

I am still not sure If I like the bezel in terms of materials and design but very cool nevertheless.

That thing looks stunning! I guess I’ll be adding this to my want list. The red detailing pops beautifully and the textured bezel looks well repped.

The bezel sitting higher than the dial toward the camera doesn’t help, it can make things look off when they are not. Anyways you’re getting another now let’s hope that one is as nice

They messed up the lume. Gen has all blue - see 15:17 at https://youtu.be/lpyrsCuOuuc. Rep has green for min hand and lume pip.

Always take the lume shot from td's with a grain of salt. White balance on cameras aleays fuck up the lume. I got a wc from my dealer where the hamds appeared green and dial markers blue and the end it was all the same color.

They used the hands from a regular seamaster where the hour hand and lume pip has a different color than the rest. I wouldn't be surprised - the first Nekton video appeared on youtube just a few weeks ago. will confirm when I get the watch but am pretty sure they messed it.

VSF are rushing all these new models without getting details right recently. A shame but not a massive issue. Can always relume them.

Lol. Those red lines on QC pics are so funny. Looks perfectly fine to me. It’s a fake watch and a beautiful one at that. Bet I can show the same so called misalignment on gens but ain’t got the time

In what way is the Nekton dial different from other Seamaster divers Jayalvin777 ?

The waves are positive relief compared to regular which has negative relief.
