So looks like Rolex got a somewhat new model and it went quietly out. We all know the Challenge which was limited pieces. Well now you can own it. I think its great as I do have the 43 Sea Dweller and the James Cameron and love them both. So question is how quickly will it come out? I do love its Titanium. But even with big wrists this will be big.

It looks bad on someone with smaller wrists. Question is how does it look on bigger wrists like mine where a 40mm can look like a childrens watch.

Not really a "big" watch, compared to my Panerai GPF 2/56 and my Zlatoust 191Chs, both of which measure 60mm in diameter without the crown. But size is relative, indeed.

Replica oblivion…
Seen plenty of Yotube reviews now - it doesnt look too bad. Not designed to be a dress watch or slip under the cuff. LOL
This is just a statement piece by Rolex to prove that their shlong is bigger than OMEGA's. Lots of people thought that the original DSSD was too big and nasty but that has been tempered and stacks of people have purchased the GEN and REP.

This is one for the ROLLIE fanboys and it will fly off the shelves as a "token" piece.

Well there is one advantage to it. With it's large size you can double it as a defensive weapon should someone try and rob you for it.... But yes it's too large too wear with any regularity even with the reduced weight of titanium. I consider it the same classification as someone who has a high-end sports car in their garage. It's just another way to show you have way more money than you need.

I love my Breitling 48mm SA. But it's 2022 and a 50mm watch is a bit absurd now from Rolex. May as well join U-boat, Invicta and their ilk in making clown watches

I think your breitling is a lot more wearable than this deep sea challenge. Even though I know it's relatively tall, it's not nearly as tall as that Rolex. Yours is approximately 48x17 if I'm not mistaken, versus that Rolex is 51x29. The crystal alone is 9.5 mm thick.

Yes. One could also make a case for Titanium. It all come down to wrist size and/or how certain bracelets sit on your wrist

I have a Rolex 116660 Deepsea Cameron and a Rolex 126660 Deepsea Cameron. At 44mm in diameter, those are the smallest watches I own. I have one more 44mm watch, a pre-V Panerai, and all my other watches are 47mm Panerais and bigger, up to 60mm.

So I have to disagree with this watch being too big. The sole reason I sold my vintage Rolex and Tudor watches is their small size. On my 8-3/4" (225mm) wrist, a 44mm watch is the minimum that looks okay. I can easily wear a 50mm watch in 2022 and even 2023 without looking ridiculous. If a small built blonde like Cherize Theron can wear a steel-cased 126660 easily, a grown man should be able to do better, yes?
