dial looks closer - but not sure about the case, seem pretty pricey but gen in the super expensive category, might be tempted if I wasn't totally wiped out from Xmas

I saw them on PT earlier as well. Look a lot nicer than the previous 21j versions. But would be more interested to see what the movement and sub-dial functions do.

Chances of anyone realized what that really is would be uber slim. I bet you'd get a TON of "Wow, cool watch" though.

It looks like it's secs@6, so I wonder if it'll be as unreliable as the daytonas. I bet finding one where either of those date wheels isn't off by a hair will be like trying to find a virgin at an abortion clinic.

Yeah, entry level RM's second hand start at about £20k...chronos are hundreds of thousands.

There is a yellow one, and by PT version dial details look pretty close even down to the yellow helmet at the 7 position

Yup, it's a seconds at 3, 7750 movement. Probably the same movement we see in the Breitling blackbird I think it is, with the big date at 12.

Gotcha. I like this watch, but I'm not going to be the test dummy for it.

It should be a stable enough movement, there's no issue with running seconds at three, only at 6 or 12.

edit: I have an unnatural desire for the yellow version.

yeah I'm liking the yellow a lot too, well if you going to wear a RM you might want people to notice, but still does rather scream look at me. So I'm saving up for the black one.
