New RM 35-01 Z (not ZF) ready

Yeah that’s what I found in my QC, looked better than KVF but only very slightly, not as good as all the images on Instagram. That said it does look to wear well on the wrist. What is the thickness like?! Does it feel tall and “boxy” or does it manage to feel flat (for an RM)?!

It fit a bit tall compared to the RM001 I owned before, but it's super light. It's a good looking piece, but looking at the Z I know the pattern could be better. I don't think the RM035 Z will ever be released. It's been circulating for four months at this point and no one can get it.

WatchFinder can get it, but you have to be VERY specific about what you want, if you send them a pic of the good pattern AND a pic of the bad pattern and make it a condition of your order then Dan will try and find it, it’s just that everyone has just asked for Z factory RM035 so he’s gone and got it but the pattern has been no good so far, and because it’s not a fault he won’t exchange each time (causes quite a bit of aggravation for Tim as I understand). But if you’ve been specific up front then you have every right to reject it afterwards!!

Personally I think it’s a good pattern especially comparing to some of the ones you all are getting. The light reflects off the carbon really well and I’m happy with it, for now. I compared this next to an Oris aquis for size reference. They have basically the same lug to lug length but the RM fits so much better imo. Ridiculously light and comfortable. And the thickness is not an issue to me with about a 7 inch wrist. Seems to be the number one complaint but imo it just makes it look more like a real mans watch now for the pics..

If the factory produces decent carbon pattern, I might even go for the 35-01!

Zelgadus to be honest, I’m not sure which factory mine is. I sent Tim a picture of a Z factory with a good carbon pattern and asked him to get me one like that.
I would find a picture of the 35 or 55 with a good pattern and send it to him asking to find you one as close to that as possible
