Thank you ALE7575

Recieved my QC's today. Rejected the watch only because of a small misunderstanding. I had made a special request for a PAM574 with a black croc strap, not the green. The TD replied swiftly and promised it will be corrected. :) Minor imperfections(like CP) are within my acceptance, so after strap replacement I will approve it. Overall impression is good. Seems very gen like.

There's a small gap between crown and case. Perheps the crown is unscrewed?

I like this PAM574 much better than the PAM512.

Yes, I've placed an order for the new PAM574.
I also made a special request. I want it with a black croc leather strap, same as on the PAM512 (same lug width). I'm guessing it might take a few extra days for the QC's to arrive.
I have been waiting for this one. Would you mind saying who you ordered it from and how much it was including the black strap.

Thank you.

Puretime. The black strap was requested as the only strap.

Thank you SOKN for posting the QC pics, I've been coming back to this post on a daily basis for this.

I tried to compare it with the gen photos on google and it seems like the OP emblem on the crown is a bit different from gen, other than that looks like another great piece by KW, I can feel the gen appearance coming at me from the front of the watch, and like yourself I don't consider CP a huge issue either.

I'm also curious about the gap between the crown and the case...In addition I noticed no screwdriver slots on either side of the strap bar, nor is there a quick change system, makes me wonder what's the mechanism to swap straps in this case.

You're welcome old_man. ;)

Yes, I think you're right about the OP emblem. No biggie though.

I did some further research on that gap. I found the gap on photos from both kuvarsit, intime and puretime. So I guess there's flaw as well.
No gap on the gen.

This one most likely uses springbars for the straps.
(Note to self: Purchase springbar removal tool. ;) )

Yeah I agree, I don't think KW ever got that emblem right (I have a 346 myself), but in actual daily wearing it never bothered me even the slightest bit.

I watched the video you provided carefully, could be my wishful thinking but maybe the screw down crown was just "unscrewed" to allow for winding. Btw, another minor thing on the video was that the word "OFFICINE" was misspelled as "OFFICNE" on the shorter part of the green strap. Since you are getting the black strap maybe you could ask the TD to get you one with correct spelling, if it is at all important.

Out of curiosity, what are you going to use instead of springbars?

Good catch about the misspelling on the strap. :)

I will use the supplied springbars.
Doh.. I just realized that the lugs have holes that goes through. Probably dont need a springbar removal tool. I can use the OP-tool to push the bars out.
Perhaps someone can confirm?

The hole is quite small so the black plastic OP-tool won't fit, but any small sized screwdriver or pin pusher would do the trick

PT came through and got me the requested strap. Two thumbs up! :) The 574 just got a whole lot more dressier. ;) I'm also looking into adding a rep deployant buckle.

Looks like the springbar holes of the new strap are not perfct suited for this radiomir, but I'm fine with it and have approved the QC pics.

Congrats SOKN, hell of a nice watch! Holes on the strap is in deed a bit too large, but I don't think it'll be much when it's being worn as the strap is pulled away from the watch head anyway.

This watch is now definitely on my list, but I've got a couple of others before this (TC sub LV, Bronzo)...just ordered my Marlin 127 so I'm trying not to be too greedy...

Thanks. :)
I would say yes. It's most likely the very same case that KW uses for their pam512.

Quick question...what is the lug width for the strap? is 22mm with 20mm for the buckle?
