New rep FC 44mm vs my gen FC 44mm

The difference are miniscule imho. No one will call u out when it is on the wrist. Plus, there are not many people who really knows what or how an AP gen or rep compares. Unless of course they are from this forum or someone who is an AP nut. That thick backcase to me, is such a minor thing. Only the overly anal would be concerned with that. I have friends who have the gen..and rep...side by side in real life...difference is ever so slight or none at all...again depending how "anal" you are. We are talking about a 40k plus rep vs a 600-700ish rep. To have it atleast 90% close to the gen, i think it is good enough. The FC 44 is to me the best AP out of the box. Apart from the AP s/s diver and v4 noob cf diver. And here is the gen on my wrist. [emoji16][emoji111]?[emoji106]

had all 3. but only fc stick until now. prolly the only one I won't be selling. Might not be the most appealing among the 3 but definitely the most comfy.
This is coming home for me... maybe I am wrong, but it seems to me that the font of calendar is closer to gen than the one of the rep photos I saw in here.

Can you tell a difference between the gen and rep ceramic bezels?
Have either ever sustained any damage/ scratches? What is your view on the quality of the rep bezel?

What are the key flaws that stand out would you say?

Key flaws - if you are well versed in the rep world ( and by no means am I ), the spacing of the dw from to the tachy ring is more on the gen, the gen dw is much deeper, from the rear, the case back is thicker on the rep ( although is this latest rep version better in this regard? ), and the rep movement appearance through the exhibition back is no way near as delicate, sophisticated, or well decorated as the gen ( which you could never expect it to be ).
The watch on the wrist tho, to anyone but an expert, is unmistakable from the gen. IMHO
