What size are these G? I'm thinking of getting a Panerai but have always worried they might be too big, my UPO is about as big as I can go with these waif like wrists... :)

Standard 44mm Luminor cases, scone.

This would be lighter and about the same size as your UPO.... 45.5 on the UPO versus 44mm on the PAM... lot more metal in the UPO...

@alwayslate... If I have you worried that it wont look like the genuine picture I posted above,, you should not be buying replicas as nothing will look as good as it.

Mate, don't be mistaken. I'm not trying to be a squeaky ass or anything, just that when you mentioned so overtly that it won't be as good as the rep, it got me thinking what tell tale signs are there for you to make such a call. No biggie for me. I know reps are reps and can't be 100% for all angles. As long as it is a decent rep, meaning correct font size and swiss made or L swiss L and all. Guess it would be easier if we could see the prototype. Nonetheless, put me down for one. Price is too good to resist.

Nice save from one of the 5%.

Well... I'm way off the charts anal... which is why I now have two gen PAM's....

But.... this project could be epic for those who are happy with a watch that's damn close... and can be made even closer with minimal effort....

Seriously though, I may jump in on it myself... but for the wifey...

My problem is, and SoCal family guys can testify to it... we run into 'risti all the time... shoot, i was standing outside the bathroom at South Coast waiting for chinkiechunkie and d4m to finish their business and a known 'risti walked out...

I understand! I have two pams...a 111H And a 183, and I am pretty sure they are both elcheapo! TWP and Trevor.
So this would be a step up and it's something that catches my interest. So yeah, I'd like in on this.
Just let me know when and where to pay Greg. :D

If D4M can make the base dial happen for you all, and you don't jump in you are idiots...there... i said it....

2nd

The last round of "standard" rep dials for the 114 I saw had numbers that were way too thin. Oh, and the current "standard" rep 113 dials appear to only say "Swiss Made", instead of the correct "L Swiss Made L", so watch out for that if you go the Marina route.

3rd for a base dial here, and totally agree with hooli in that most white dial pams have way too thin font, its the biggest tell on any white dial rep for sure IMHO.

That is my point,, why do you think I said it wont be as good as the rep? The picture I posted is of a genuine watch.. not a rep,, it wont be as good as it. The best thing for you to do is to look at the dial that the cartel have displayed for a 113 on their websites.. it's that dial.. it's a standard replica dial.. not sure how I can be more clear than this.

That's the dial that is missing the "L"s on the "L Swiss Made L". If they do up a 114 dial for ya, make sure they fix that bit...

See the 114 that hooligan posted,, it has no running seconds at the 9 position of the dial.

His post does say he will be using a display caseback... and, there is no H0035/2000 closed caseback anyways...

My humble input would be to see if you can get the base white dial (if you must do a white dial) so that anyone who wants to can get the D/1200 closed caseback from DSN and make yourself a DLC 010D.... closed caseback hides the inaccuracy of rep movements...
I agree!
