Guys, I have always liked this 113 pvd' and I am going to setup a project in GZ for a short run of PVD cases and 113 dials.
The current casebacks say "H0035/2000" so we will go with H movements and unfortunately SS display backs.

This Genuine below is my motivation. I need a first run of about 5 to make this happen. I am having one done up for me now as an example but did not want to wait for it to see if anyone would be interested.

They will have Sapphire w/AR, PVD Case, SS case back, H SwanNeck Asian Momvement, Tall Canon Pinion, 113 Dial, Black Rubber Strap on deployant

Price $195 + Shipping (EMS $25)

What do you guys think?

**These are pictures of the Genuine watch, not of the replica project**

Looks good. Price is decent as well. Questions: 1) no swiss made font? 2) hows the lume gonna be? and 3) any strap and buckle?

If all 3 items are favourable, I'm down for one piece.

Thanks for putting this together!

Lume will be standard rep lume, there will be the Swiss on the bottom (that is a picture of the genuine watch up there,, it wont look that good), I'm thinking a rubber strap on deployant will be best.

You got me worried there with that comment bro. By "won't look that good", what exactly would be the key difference? Font? Most reps that I've bought seem to be really good in terms of finish.

Was hoping for a leather strap with PVD buckle but rubber strap on depolyant would suffice. It's also a pity to hide that beautiful movment in a ss caseback. Stoopid question, but any chance of having it glass for those of us who prefer it?

Guys, if I'm reading D4M's first post correctly this watch *will* use a display caseback.

His post does say he will be using a display caseback... and, there is no H0035/2000 closed caseback anyways...

My humble input would be to see if you can get the base white dial (if you must do a white dial) so that anyone who wants to can get the D/1200 closed caseback from DSN and make yourself a DLC 010D.... closed caseback hides the inaccuracy of rep movements...

All do respect...I am not wanting to hide anything. I am not interested in fooling anyone.
I'd rather have the display back, innacuracy and all.

Need to see your sample unit regarding the dial and PVD finish before I would commit...

Strap and case back can be rectify later but I just don't like those standard shiny PVD cases... :|

I'm trying to keep this under a $200 project,, dlc'd , DSN, etc etc.. would be sweet,, but not looking for a $600 project..

Guys,, this is a standard PVD rep case w/sapphire and AR, and a current standard 113 dial (edit: base dial is now available!!!)
edit: if this goes over well and people like the look,, I will look at a larger scale / higher end project for sure!

@alwayslate... If I have you worried that it wont look like the genuine picture I posted above,, you should not be buying replicas as nothing will look as good as it.

Then get B/3000 OP 6518 casebacks from DSN for $20 each.... make DLC 003B's.... add $30 or so to the finished pieces.... make something very nice...

hehe...

Seriously though..... at $200, this is a great project for 95% of the members here...

Edit: Guys,, looks like I am getting things moving a little better than I though.. It looks like the factory may produce a base dial for me for this project.. :) Not 100% but looks real good!

Interested D, please keep me posted too.

It's a shame no base dial is available though, this would look even sweater with a base dial IMHO, let us know when your test unit comes in and stupid question but I'm assuming the deployant clasp will be PVD'd too, right?

D4M, is this going to be a custom base dial or off the shelf? The cardinal numbers (12,3,6,9) need to be more bold than on the "normal" 010/114 dials.

Example -

My gen 114E:
DSCF1880.jpg

The last round of "standard" rep dials for the 114 I saw had numbers that were way too thin. Oh, and the current "standard" rep 113 dials appear to only say "Swiss Made", instead of the correct "L Swiss Made L", so watch out for that if you go the Marina route.
