Here is the bracelet on the solid gold 15400RG:

The mid-link sides also appear to be non plated?

However, I am pretty sure I read somewhere that the solid gold JF15400 has plated all around mid-links?

If so, the TD pictures, seemingly showing non plated sides, may just be an optical illusion (wishful thinking?)

Perhaps existing JF Solid gold 15400 owners could confirm whether their mid-links are plated all around, including the sides (@godfather, [MENTION=90357]tanto[/MENTION], [MENTION=56325]Phantomtech[/MENTION])

Thats a real shame I think. IMO thats a pretty big flaw

If the RG bracelet is fully plated all over, than I can't imagine the TT being any different.

The good news is that the mid-links are gold plated on the front and back faces (as well as top and bottom). Therefore when the watch is on the wrist, you can't see flashes of non plated steel peeking up as the mid-links rotate on the wrist.

The TF bracelet has only top and bottom faces plated.

TF mid-links are only gold plated top and bottom faces (2 faces plated out of 6).

JF mid-links are gold plated top, bottom, front and back (4 faces out of 6). They are NOT plated on the 2 side faces. BIG improvement over TF and hard to tell on the wrist (unlike TF)but a flaw nevertheless.

Do we know how sturdy the plating is? Flimsy or durable? I heard that the plating could ship of easily for some past AP models
