This reminds me of the forged carbon "woody" version....better wait and not get stuck w a shiny ceramic toy when they have to remake this case and rerelease with a matte ceramic case...
I have refrained from comment until now, but no way I get this watch. Sorry. Neither guru nor angus can twist my mind to like it. LOL.

maybe it's the lighting conditions , but only to me the ceramic of the rep looks too much ''glossy'' compared to the gen?

I know you would never twist my mind, dear sir. I am just saying: Even if you found something to praise in this version of this model, I would not be swayed to buy it right now. Maybe my mind will change with time and some real-life photos though. Good luck to the people who bought it. Maybe a mod can be found for the case, maybe bead blasting.
That glossy white ceramic just makes the rep look like plastic.
The matte finish just adds that premium feel on it. Wonder if they will do that on the final release.

Maybe a wet sand like a car using a 3M jewelry "paper" like a 1600grit, just a thought. To dull it.
@aflop, u can find the rubber strap....at the most trusted of Dealers. Audemars Piguet. ...anyway...here is the white 44mm which imho.,,,is way better....purists has a nickname for it...the stormtrooper....
