It's just that the movement says "CENEVE" in huge letters... :(

That, plus there is a couple more misspelled words on the movement. These flaws on the movement were addressed after the pictures of the movement were made available on this thread. MKF released the watch anyway, knowingly the flaws existed. According to kobe24 these flaws will be corrected when the second batch is introduced.

As far as I saw some pictures of the MK, the PF date wheel look better to me.....

PF has a shitty font on all numbers while the MK got a few decent numbers hehe

in the end both are not the right thing... V6F have to change the whole game. If they don't i see no decent 5711 in the near future out of the box and then i will let the modding games begin hehe

Can anyone comment on the MK5 Bracelet quality and whether it could be suitable for someone with small wrists (links removed ofc). Say 6.5" wrist? So far I have only got suggestions for the PF for small wrists but i cant imagine there would be all that much difference between the two? Especially with the now MK bracelet now being improved?

From what I read on the older MK4 model, members solved the problem by simply sanding the first links. If you go to search function, enter "Dremel" within Patek Philippe only, it should bring you to the correct page.

Just looked at the MKF vs PF on a side by side via photoshop and overlayed them and it clearly showed me that the DW cut out on the MK is a bit more to the left. So it will need a new DWO for this particular model.

it is a pain that all makers make their own dial specifications while producing their own digital templates for their own product and dont manage getting the font right...

while designing the DWO for the PF i felt the struggle with the numbers from 20 to 29 as the bottom of the previous 2 is visible on the current showing date when it is not properly centred due to the size of the font.

The PF got the best proportions compared to the gen while JJF or MKF mess up the font by using a different radius of the DWO by placing the cut out in the wrong place.

It is a pain for them to get everything perfect because there are too many aspects that need to be mentioned while there are too many suppliers for too many important parts.

As already said they try to deal with the problem of tolerances by using a smaller font... that said - without gen specification they will never achieve a decent look.

The devil is in the details.

Any plans for making/producing the DWO specifically for the MKF V5. Thanks.

The final PF DWO isnt even ready yet so i dont think we will think about another project anytime soon.

Lets be patient - maybe our wishes will come true when V6F drops the bomb.

Same here mate ;)

Your knowledge and attention to detail is very comforting. There is a great weight upon your shoulders with the PF, and hopefully it can be utilized in a handful of other thin watches.
