Hi, Gang!

Thanks to a mate who showed me his Submersible (royster, I believe), purchased this one from Toro Bravos for $79. No, I don't remember the model number; Pams still stump me, but it IS a substantial watch for a beginner: it weighs in at about 121.1 grams and is 50mm across the case, crown guards included. Here are "some pics" for your perusal. dave. (Oh, yeah: some blurries; my apologies):

That'a an 024, I picked up one of those from Toro a few months back. Nice watch for the price!

Nice one Dave and a relatively inexpensive pick up.

How are you liking the PAM on the wrist?

I still wear my 024 from Toro that I bought quite some time ago and it keeps perfect time and looks great. The date magnification is off but it's not a big deal...especially for the price.

I like it on the wrist, Comc; it's very comfortable, wears well, yet I know it's on the 'ole wrist. Plus, the big dial is easy for these old eyes to read the time without adding an extra 12 hours to it, heh!

KrisOK: Thanks for enlightening me on the model number. I DO have saved in "Favorites" an RWI post listing all the Pams, but my memory doesn't work too well. I DO have saved in "Favorites" an RWI post listing all the Pams, but my memory... Oh, uh, NEVER MIND.

Hi, ronverhage! What did you use to polish up the case and CGs on yours -- a Cape Cod? And, HOW did you do it without scratching the begeebees out of it?

Old school (haven't got a dremel), so yes, Cape Cod and a bit of tape to make sure rhe bezel didn't get glossy also. Seperated the lever from the CG for the same reason and started polishing. It took 2 Cape Cod tissues but it's ok now ( except for my wrist)....

AND, I THANK YOU, ronverhage, for the advice. Again, yours looks great with that shine.
