Does anyone else find the dials overall to be too yellowish and not as crisp and white as Gen ?

According to the Rhc dial comparison Gen vs ZF, the dial colour is spot on. But I agree, the ZF looks a little yellowish. Maybe its the lighting..or the crystal has an influence.

Great comparison...shiny subdials are a pain for me though..it's the same for many other IWC reps and I know myself, I cannot live with that. I am officially on the hunt for a gen dial I am afraid....just wondering what the price might be from SW (ebay is a long shot..)

No I use a tracking app for all parcels and it's the name I gave it for the tracking number. It's not seen by the parcel handlers, only me [emoji41]

Oh that makes sense. I was just imagining it going through customs with that on!

The lighting does effect the dial and the gen can look yellowish in certain lights. The colour of the rep, if not the same is so close it's not worth mentioning.

The sub dials are the same colour it is just the concentric rings are slightly more prominent on the rep so can reflect the light differently. I know what you mean though when it comes to Laureus and Exuprey models the reps always have a shiny silver and not a mat silver finish.

Exactly, same was for the old GST 3707 (well, in that case the difference was obvious, excellent rep overall but the dial was insufficient).
I am sorry, maybe I am too picky, but for me it's a downside.

U.K.
Yeah Blake is a good guy. He's just got me some mark17 parts including a rare gen crystal.

Guys, just keep in mind that gen 5007 has curved end links (5001 has straight) and the yellow gold markes on white dial is only available in the 5007 model.

So... It's a tell unless you replace the end slinks ...

Not sure what you mean? Both the 5001 and 5007 have the same dial combinations in the standard colours. The rep available is of the 5001, the only real visible difference between the two is the size of the Schaffhausen lettering. Look at post #780 for a comparison between a gen 5001 dial and the rep dial. Search google for the 5007 and you can see the difference.
I wouldn't say the curved end of the strap is a tell as anyone could replace the strap with one from the other version or change to an aftermarket strap. The strap is a wear item so over time there will all sorts out there.
