Made my decision to buy an IWC 545409. [MENTION=28112]zafod999[/MENTION]: Beautiful watch with a beautiful strap!

just ordered this zf v3 this is the qc pic. for some reason the date font jumped out at me i dont know if my eyes are playing tricks on me due to the lighting of the picture. but does the date font seem to be bolder then normal? Please let me know what you guys think

Hahah I actually got nervous over there!
I got two more close ups and i feel like there's really something off.. Please tell me im wrong. But the reason im hesitant to just accept it is bec I bought the same watch with black dial and I noticed the crooked numbers and I accepted anyway bec i didnt wanna make the dealer crazy but when I actually got it i was vry disappointed and it has no wrist time so i want to make sure at least this one is good.. If anyone has an opinion id love to hear. To me it just looks much bolder and not the same font as the other ones posted on this thread but i hope im wrong

I just checked the DW on my Laureus. Yours definitely has a thicker font. Don't know if that's necessarily a bad thing, though.

Thanks for your response. I just googled the 5007 and it definitely has the thinner font like your laureus.. O well

I can tell the difference when you point it out, but I would probably accept it anyway. Still a beautiful watch. Have you seen this thread - lot of pictures and comparison of gen and rep (YL and ZF)

There seems to be some 'variation' in the font on the gens as well. Here is another - the difference is so small it would probably be hard to notice on the wrist. Off the wrist one look at the movement says it's not gen so...

Cant ant wait to get mine back from being serviced (movement was flawless but I'm trying to make sure it'll last as long as possible)

What do you mean "is it worth it?" Look at the photos and decide for yourself if it's something you want. Some prefer it, some don't...
