New PF 5711 ??

Got mine today. Was in double PP packages. Individually Stickered on polished parts and then doubled wrapped all over. Guessing it’s a v2 but who knows.

how do you find quality / details of the watch?

^quality is excellent IMO.

Does it blow me away —— no.

Some will say it’s feels cheap and flimsy but it’s the same with gen.

The gen was my grail for many years but prices are too rich for my blood.

I like the feel of the bracelet and clasp.

Bracelet folds nicely around my 6.75” wrist. The previous BP Nautilus I had was too stiff.

Contrast between polished and brushed surfaces could be better. Overall Finish is good but not excellent.

Finishing on gen is a completely different level but then again that’s a given.

Rep crystal is nice. Good clarity. I wouldn’t recommend x2Aar.....dial is not good enough to showcase with the missing crystal look.

Some of the hour markers ain’t perfectly aligned but slaughterer62 will fix that.

DW is shit....but we know that. Movement deco is really pretty to look at.

Hour makers dont shimmer like gen, they could have been finished better but that’s the case with most reps.

I like the dial colour but it’s no where near as beautiful as gen....I wouldn’t expect it to be really.

Overall a very good rep IMO......but I am not that fussy and don’t like to micro analyse.

If you like the nautilus, a retro looking 70s watch that probably hasn’t aged that well, then I would recommend getting this watch.....at least to try it out. For me, it’s on the keepers list (after new DW and hour markers realigned).

i think its stunning! this new date wheel mod will change the nautilus game. I really believe more gen guys will start buying the rep.

Hit a lot of points from my own analysis too. Does the weird blue greenish tint under direct sunlight bug you at all?

Also its strange that you mentioned about the BP bracelet, I also got one a while back and hated the BP 5711 bracelet it felt cheap , squeaky and very stiff. But I recently got a BP 5980 and I was very very impressed with the bracelet that came with it, it feels entirely different, silky smooth even better than the PF bracelet in my opinion. Its the best rep Patek bracelet that i have handled yet.

I know you are annoyed about a few things with this watch but on the wrist this thing is pure sex mate. Once the datewheel mod is available I am going to have to jump on the bandwagon. nobody has this in my neck of the woods, even gen guys can't touch one.

I took out 4 links to fit my 6.75” wrist.

I think there’s a chance that it might just be too tight for a 8” wrist.
