I waited patiently for the V6F Nautilus for three years, finally got tired of waiting so I got the MKF V6 knowing it had a flaw or two. Then this PPF shows up. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all. Just glad I don't gamble at the casinos around town, I'd be broke if I did.

Absolutely right, Sir.

V6F waited too long or thought nobody else could compete in the 5711 game.

But now as we have seen the finish of the gen side by side in a beautiful macro show from ryan (which was never the case before with PF in this manner)

there is just a small fraction of need for the clone...

but like so many others already said - better a known reliable movement than a complete custom build.

I enjoy the progress reps are taking these days.

You can always sell MKF v6 and go for ppf Rep.

and btw newest (2018/2019 production) Nautilus with box around logo comes with very thin date font. It looks as thin as on ppf rep or very close. I don’t think DW swap will be needed.

Exactly, why would someone who's been posting on reddit for 8+ years try to post a picture of a gen watch claiming it's a rep? It raises suspicion. I saw that he posted a picture of a Daytona claiming he's seen it at a rep dealer (probably in Shenzhen or Guangzhou). People in the comment section were saying it's a gen and that he should get it. At the end he said that the watch had been sold when he visited the store to buy it. Maybe someone who's familiar with Daytonas can chime in. That Daytona story sounds like complete horseshit! The watch pictured is clearly a gen Zenith Daytona!

I thought about it, but I'm not a buy and sell type. I always keep most of my watches, gen or rep, if I don't like a watch I give it away. I'll keep my MKF v6 and change out the DWO.

These new PPFs look promising and I think they'll sell fast. However, we need to have a hands-on review of them. Also, we need to see the blue model that our TDs will be actually be offering, is it like the one from the Reddit photo or different. The white model also needs a closer look at. The ones that InTime and Puretime offers have a gap between the 12 markers and BIONONE states his QC pictures show no gap. Do we have two white dial variants?
