I would have preferred if XF just put a production number on it even if they don't know the exact gen lot size.

They probably copied the prototype which I have explained in other posts, has no serial nor millesimation.

Maybe you would prefer the SF version, with a production number (obviously incorrect with a 2012 series and 800 millesimation). But that has a lot more inaccuracies where it counts.

I know being a closed case back it's not a big deal, but it is missing some of the gen construction features like the iron cap (faraday cage) under the case back. ZF and V6F did it with the regular 389 but I guess it's a compromise here with the new slimmer cases.

It is very possible that the ommision of the faraday cage on the rep may have facilitated the reduction in case height. I'll try to get a height measurement to compare.

Then why do you keep asking for them? Once more and you will need to find a new forum!
I'm being overly tolerant here but this is the last time, Ales Klar?

I just received a PAM 1389 XF and a PAM 305 V6F. Absolutely beautiful watches! Unfortunately, the PAM 305 V6F was advertised as an A7750 but they've sent one with the cheaper ST2555. Puretime's new timegrapher didn't indicate the BPH on the QC pics. Oh well... another lesson learned: always ask for timegrapher pics showing BPH as well.

Straps: Orloff calf leather tutto nero on the 1389, C&B (Jose) aged black canvas on the 305.

Interestingly, I totally wasn't into PAM submersibles in the beginning but now I already have 4 of them.

The Pam1389 is looking great @pechspils
Just wondering what your overall thoughts on it are? Did it come with the updated two color lume?

Lume is blue/green as per gen. Some obvious flaws:
- Missing production number
- Something is odd with the lume on the minute and hour hand. On the hour hand, it looks like there's a hole in the middle of it. This results in a dark circle when the lume is glowing. Not visible on photos though.
- Bezel knurling is probably too dark

As expected, thanks to the reduced thickness (~16mm), the 1389 is a easier to wear than its predecessor.

I'd have sent it back stating not specified movement as shown in website specifications! St2555 versions are a dam site cheaper than a7750. That a total rip off of trust of a TD. One reason I always take case backs off when I receive them to check that I'm getting what is stated to what I'm paying for!
And it beats me for some reason why he didn't show you timograph and Pics in the QC knowing that st2555 is 21600 and a7750 is 28800bph!

Wait, for the PAM 305, it get's better :)
The timegrapher pics showed a beat error of 3.9ms. I rejected the watch. Instead of ordering another one, they just sent the watch to a local watchsmith who was able to regulate it down to 0.9ms. Still not great but I decided to accept it. However, he also left:
- His fingerprints on the deco plate
- Scratches on the rotor and deco plate
- Did not reglue the deco screws since one is about to come off
- Dust on the dial

Obviously, I did not get another round of QC photos post-watchsmith (and I didn't ask for them, unfortunately). Another lesson learned.

I'm not sure if I want to go through the hassle of sending a watch back, I probably write this one off and never use this TD again. Mind you, this is one of the largest TD around here.

Then post a review of the TD.

Well then that's ok for the ppl that like the same Lume colour as mentioned by some members in previous posts on this thread.
As for you mate, you dangle the carrot in front of the donkey saying you have the watches then say your not taking orders. Whats that all about then??? [emoji849]
