Wow that's a good PR, how many times do you need to wind it to get maximum PR?
I tried 20 times started at 11pm last night and still going at this moment, but am doing a test to see how long mine can go

My KW 127 has a power reserve of about 57 hours.

The manual wind A6497 movement on the PAM127 is rated at 56 hours on a full wind, same as gen. Just wind the crown until you can't turn it anymore (don't force it). 20 turns is too few, IMHO even if they are full turns. Can you still turn the crown after 20 turns? If so, then you have not wound it fully.

you re right it goes beyond 20 turns.
I wasnt confident of doing it.. My 20 turns only last 12 hours btw ...lol.
The more you turn the harder it gets, is that just what i feel or not?

As you near the limit of the coil, you will start to feel resistance, like when you turn the crown clockwise, it will snap back a little. It will eventually stop turning. When you reach that, STOP IMMEDIATELY.

How about the case of this KW 127 batch? Were there any improvements? How is the crystal?

Ty for reply.

I didn't have any problems, because I don't own 127 yet. I am in process of buying one and I would like to make sure, the KW 127 is the best option available out there.

Yes, pretty much. I love mine.

Buy with confidence and just make sure during QC that you get a movement with correct engravings.

Hi mysterio,
May I know around how many turns for PAM127 to full wind? I try to turn mine PAM127 up to 40 turns. It's can stand more than 24 hours.
I didn't wind the crown until it can't turn anymore because I'm afraid it will spoil my watch.
Thanks

You can wind until it stops. You will really feel when you get there as there is a distinctive resistance.

Thanks for your quick respond, Immo.
I'm not dare to wind until it stop because last time I had face an issue on my PAM372. I wind until the watch can't wind, the watch stop functioning. I had to send the watch back to China & repair.

The 6497 movement on the PAM127 is quite robust and you clearly see when it's fully wound. I have some watches with this movement without problems so far, so maybe you just had some bad luck.
Unless you PAM372 had a P.3000 clone, which might not be as robust as the 6497.
Anyway, it's really up to you. No problem of winding every day. :)
