Guys, i just saw a new listing of the Pam127 while i was looking to buy this beauty. I saw they stated that it is E series with an Updated Movement Bridge !!!
Could our experts take a look of this new one to see what is new in this model ? While I'm very new to 127.

This new version of PAM 127 from KW-V6Fac has two improvements on movement bridges.
1- Correct placement of golden - lllllllll + regulation scale on balance cock (more detached from the blue screw)
2- Corrected fonts of "P" and "R" (wider fonts) on PANERAI PANERAI engravings

Now it is the most accurate movement of PAM 127 available

Hi ALE

No they should not be. 1st, there is no gold in the regulation scale of the PAM217. 2nd, the PAM217 movement does not use the "PANERAI PANERAI PANERAI" decoration but rather the Côtes de Genève.

thank you. I assume the PAm 217 is just as good of a super rep as the Pam 127 right?

Hmm, come to think of it, there hasn't been any review of the PAM217 KW/V6F or ZF versions yet. Only the PAM217 Noob has been definitely reviewed and classified as Super Rep. However, taking into consideration that the PAM127 release by both factories have been classified also as super reps (KW > Noob ZF), then we can deduce from that result that the PAM217 from those factories would roughly be the same (at least Super rep, low level).

I thought/read the current Pam 217 KW/V6 is on par with 127 Kw/v6 at super rep level. Read almost all reviews on the latest Pam 217 lol

As commented by mysterio, this is impossible since PAM 217 has neither golden scale nor PANERAI PANERAI engravings

ALE7575 I'd like to mention that I've done a service job on a new KW V6 127, and it's designed with the movement ring built into the case, so the bezel needs to be removed in order to remove the movement. In addition the removal is very easy and the only gasket is a teflon one. I'm afraid it doesn't do much good for waterproofing.
Furthermore the case and movement are quite good. Just my two cents

Thanks Natas for the input
But are not all PAM 127 movements of frontal assembly ?

The 127 Luminor cases I have worked on before all have seperate movement rings and movements are secured with tabs and screws, the latest KW doesn't, hence my surprise.

Thanks Natas for the input
