With my untrained non-eagle eye, Its not too far off. The lighting is different but yours looks pretty fine. Wear it in good health.

If that bothers you, this probably isn't a good hobby. Once seen, I still don't see it.

Camera focus and lighting conditions certainly make fonts look bolder or thinner. Compared to other google pics the font thickness actually seems to be pretty much spot on.

Thanks for clarifying. The lack of the 3rd (and maybe 4th) layer of the carbotech would indicate it's a V1.

Externally, only the extra layers in the carbotech would be the difference. Internally, the movement has changed as well. Those are superficial observations not a detailed review so there may be other visual changes. Whether the $50 increase in price is worth that to you is a subjective matter. For me personally, it is enough of a significant change to want to sell my V1 and get the V2. But that's just my personal opinion.
