but that would make it thicker...

+ 1 on that. Auto movements make a simple thin profile so much thicker. 380 vs 388 as radiomir for instance. You really can't beat the thinness of a piece how well it covers your wrist!

Gen 620 uses a microrotor movement so it has the same thickness as the hand-wind.

That's fantastic news. Considering judging from the Chinese forums, ZF Maker produced a movement that utilizes microrotor. It was initially introduced as still in the works for a good Patek movement. I can honestly be not too sure if they would ever be able to functionality of a micro-rotor on a consistent line. Too many issues to run into so I think makers will still hold off using / replicating it till it becomes acceptable.

I think it's a possibility ZF can produce this quite easily given they are improving their overall quality without charging premium and by implementing micro-rotor with their double barrel movement I think this could lead to perfection!

I still don't see 620 being a hit considering 512 was not a hit nor anything less than 44MM have ever been.

Most people like bigger Panerai pieces despite their wrist-size so makers have been focusing on building better ones of those imho.

I never really understood why an auto necessitates a thicker body. I have a Max Bill Auto (ETA 2824-2) that's way thinner than any Panerai hand wound.

What a the model numbers? Any pics?

I'm sure most of you follow Panerai on some form of social media so you have probably seen that they have released 3 new 42mm 1940 Radiomirs. There must have been enough people like me that love the 512 to justify a few more models in the line up. I was going to pick up a 512 myself but I actually really like the Lume color on the new 574 far better so I think I will wait for it to be repped which should be easy enough.

Anyway I thought it would be worth a new thread to discuss the new models and future reps....

620 is 45mm. I thimk It will attract more buyers.. not too big and not to small.

Thought i was wrong lol :) There are so many ref #'s in pams and things can usually get confusing as they all look alike.

i heard thatmicro rotors aren't as reliable even in gens as the regular rotors obviously but again OP wouldn't have implemented it into their new line is what comes on my mind.

honestly, it feels it's exquisite and something hard to rep andeven if it were made, it would rather be for the decoration purpose.

I love my 512. It's the ultimate dress watch imho, understated yet so classy, and it's thin enough to go under the sleeve. Don't hesitate BnR, go ahead n get it. The rep croc strap that comes with it is useless, but you can order a real croc leather strap from vietnam at very good price. Check out this thread: https://forum.replica-watch.info/vb...kers-on-Ebay/page7?highlight=vietnamese+strap.

I am highly considering doing a 512. I was going to do a 029 and wait for a 574 but I just found an omega I like and cant really afford to do a 029 and an Aqua Terra right now.

572 is 12.1 gen thickness and 15mm rep. I'm hoping for a homage case 45mm 24mm lug. That would be orgasmic.
