I just got a rep Luminor GMT 10 days and the blueish tint on the glass needs to be fixed. Any suggestions on who to send it to?

the blueish tint you notice i believed is the AR on the crystal, did you got the watch from a dealer or a member on the fora?

anyway you could have the top layer AR removed with professional help, however, you need to make sure its sapphire crystal and not those mineral types if not, the outcome after the removal of the top layer AR will not be pleasant.

another option you could try is to PM takashi and get 1 of his Taka AR Sapphire crystal. Link

yup, i agree.. 1st must check whether u'r using a sap, mineral or mineral sap crystal b4 u try to remove ur AR coating.. or u cld get Taka's AR-ed crystal..

pretty sure it'll fit.. as for installing, i guess it'd boil dwn to where u'r frm..&whether u have e tools to fit e crystal but i'd advise against diy-ing as it cld wreck ur sealing..

I am conus. I have already PM'd Vacuum and am eagerly waiting for a reply. I have also PM'd Takashi to confirm he has the glass in stock. I have had great success working with Katt but I don't think he does Mod's like this.

I just found out that the front is FRONT GLASS:[FONT=verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif] Thick Curved Synthetic Sapphire with AR[/FONT]
