I hear you Phantomtech.. I'm not one for decoplates.. I love the closed case back. I am thinking of pulling the trigger on the white face just because I have WAY too many black faced watched and need to mix it up.. I am only holding on to see a video of it.. I am hoping TWTime will get in the product and do a video on it..

Yeah, I am thinking AR as well too.. Looks good though, I am excited to see the VC Overseas back, and this rubber looks incredibly well rep'ed..

Ordered black dial. The crown is better than the previous model based on the pictures. Overall it looks promising, will post pics upon arrival

I guess I'm from the only ones excited about the rubbe. I saw the gen on rubber and loved it! I had the rep with bracelet but wasn't too impressed.

I am torn between the white or black dial. Black will also cost me an AR job...

I also don't care much for the new 2016 models so I won't wait for noob, I like these older models better..

Decisions desicions....
Am I to understand the 2016 models are made different and that is what noob maker will bring out?

This new factory is a mess
For example on the same dial they used numbers with different shape

On the white dial the hands and numbers are different
It seems on the older models VC was using more "fat" numbers, like the "9" on the right pic

Ryan mixed pics on black
The first and third pic are from another watch

Disappointing...

This isn't a miyota 8015 this is the 9015 which is a fantastic movement. It's every bit as reliable as a the eta 2xxx movements.. It is thinner (which is good for this watch) it hacks has 28k bph with no stutter and is easily serviceable/replaceable. This movement is used in most of the boutique and micro brand watches you see for $500+. As far as I can tell, this factory has really done a great job. It needs to be understood that the Miyota 9015 vs the 8015 is the difference between a Asian 2824 and an Asian 21j but in this case you are getting gen quality parts vs Chinese made copies.

This is my DeepStream
numbers look the same

But for these, I don't think so

I have no idea what you think is different? The light reflecting is it.. the numbers are fine.

I know it's the 9015, its a good movement but not an expensive one.
The price of this watch is wrong. It should be at least 50 to 70$ cheaper.
Shame to see a 358$ watch with no AR.

Looks promising. Love closed caseback. I'm waiting for bracelet release as the bracelet is what makes a genta style watch IMO

People pay more for plenty of watches on rubber straps.

Like me.

I love this watch on rubber. On bracelet it looks just like all the other million watches...

I'd disagree. I wore a Deep Stream on rubber for a couple of years and then got the silver dial chrono on a bracelet - visually these are not even in the same league (dial colour difference and matte titanium vs shiny steel bezel notwithstanding).

Having said that, the Deep Stream on the rubber strap was so effortlessly comfortable I was almost willing to forgive it its bland appearance. But in the end I just had to admit to myself that the bracelet really makes the Overseas, as plain and simple as that.

The factory is apparently waiting to see if there is demand for these on a bracelet before they do one. That was the answer when I tried to place an order for one.
